  Customize your young adult faith with amazing insights from one of the giants in Christian faith - St. Paul. Much of Christianity's landscape flows from St. Paul's struggles in understanding the relevance of faith in Jesus Christ.
   Scripture scholars from the area will present rich views on him, his letters, and his major struggles.
    There will be good music, great food, and a chance to meet other young adults who want to be a bit better in living out their faith more authentically.
    There is a small fee of $20 to cover the costs of speakers, materials and food. But it is a small price to pay for a full day of life changing information.

  Join us at St. Edith’s Parish in Livonia on Tuesday, August 19th from 7 to 9pm.
Learn about the national issues concerning immigration, a hot topic for the 2008 presidential election. Come learn from two experts on the topic and share your personal experiences and opinions regarding immigration.

Todd Scribner is the Coordinator of Education and Outreach for Migration and Refugee Services for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He will share the Catholic perspectives of the immigration issues and will give us some insight into reaching out to our immigrant brothers and sisters beyond the political realm.

Sr. Kathleen Erickson is a woman’s counselor at the Immigration Detention Center in El Paso. She will share some of the personal stories of immigrants who have been detained in El Paso and how this experience has impacted her viewpoints on immigration issues.
